¿Cómo preparar un
buen mate amargo?
Sigue estos pasos:
- Llenar con yerba hasta ¾ partes de capacidad del mate.
- Volcar el mate sobre la palma de la mano izquierda y agitarlo suavemente.
- Volver lentamente a la posición normal, cuidando que la yerba quede de un costado.
- En principio verter agua tibia, con un chorrito fino en el costado casi vacío del mate. Esperar un momento y repetir la operación con el agua menos caliente, esperando que la yerba absorba el agua.
- Recién entonces se introduce la bombilla hasta el fondo y en el mismo costado casi vacío.
- Finalmente, con el agua suficientemente caliente (no hervir), se comenzará a cebar el mate. Se echa siempre el agua en el mismo lugar y no moviendo para nada la bombilla. En el otro costado la yerba permanecerá seca si se tiene cuidado de echar siempre un chorrito de agua.
